This past summer I gathered up all of my t-shirts from Bonclarken and my time spent living in Flat Rock and I tried my hand at crafting a quilt from them. I scoured a lot of websites on the internet and pieced them all together to come up with a pattern to use. This is what my first one looked like:
I recycled some old jeans for the in between parts. It was fun to do and turned out great, but I couldn't really use it until this winter ;)
After doing this one, I wanted another quilting project. I really enjoyed making mine and I felt confident that I could make one for someone else (and make some money at the same time!). Thanks to my roommate, she found an ad on craigslist from someone wanting to make a t-shirt quilt. I responded and here is what the result was.
Look for directions to this quilt in my next post!

Love the quilts!! I hadn't seen the bottom one before, but it looks great. :-)
